Nice theater. Concessions are way too high. Cost you $20 to get in why charge so much for food... ridiculous!!
Watched IT by myself. Best movie exoerience ever
Now, con wise, prices on the food/drinks are outrageously high, but that seems to be the norm for movie theaters. Around the popcorn pour-your-own-butter thing looks like it always needs more cleaning than what it's getting.
Theater is average in seating, sound, and viewing. Always clean. My only, and this is a big one, complaint are their Concession prices. We never buy anything because they are just so high. I know the old saying "but that's how the theater makes its money"; well, I'm here to tell you they lose any possible chance of a sale with my family. I just can not see paying $20+ for popcorn and two small drinks. We actually drive to Eden most of the time now where we can watch the movie cheaper and enjoy our popcorn at a very reasonable price.
I drove to this theater from Eden specifically so my son and his friend could watch one movie and my daughter and I could watch another. They wanted to see It which is R rated. My son is 14 and his friend is 15. His friend had already seen the movie. It is theater policy NOT a law that I had to see the movie with them. No thanks....we drive right back to Eden and they got to see their movie. Unfortunately, no movie for me but I saved a lot of $. Next time, we'll drive to Greensboro if our little theater isn't playing what we want to see.
I go to the movies about once a month, and this is one of two places I go to. I'm going to start with the pros then the cons of what I've seen of the place.
Of the times I've been, the place is pretty clean, most of the staff are nice/friendly, the way they have the seats set up are good, so that even if you have someone tall sitting in front of you, you can still see alright.
Overall, I think it's a good movie theater.
