Regarding the crush sleeve our gears and ALL aftermarket gears are designed to be run with a preload shim to replace the weaker crush sleeve design. Any shop should recognize this and know it does not take a crush sleeve. We put bot the preload shims (you need) and a crush sleeve (you don't need) in our kits. We put the crush sleeve in the kit in case someone is going back with a factory gear. There is absolutely no reason they should have charged you anymore.
I needed the ring and pinion put in Don said, you have the wrong parts the crush sleeve will not fit the ring and pinion " wrong part "so he only put in bearing and charged me $150.00 I was thinking well that was "nice of him"
